Sustainability & Green Impact

NUS Green Impact - logoChrist Church students, staff, and Governing Body are involved in a number of initiatives to improve sustainability, some of the programmes and links to resources are detailed below.

Green Impact

Green Impact runs in a huge range of organisations across society, working in over fifty universities across the UK, to embed sustainability as a fundamental policy and practice.

The vision for Green Impact is the same everywhere, to bring together staff and students to drive sustainability action. Get involved, or read more about the programme here.

NUS Student Switch Off - logoStudent Switch Off

After coming third overall in the NUS Student Switch Off campaign last year this years campaign has got up to a sure but steady start.

We have so far achieved the bronze category in both the sign up and training events but there is still plenty of time for students to continue to sign up to help the cause.

Still to come this year are the environmental quizzes, which the House has historically done very well in, as well as 4 environmentally themed events, for further details about our progress saving energy this year, watch this space!
