All tickets to visit Christ Church must be booked in advance online.

We will be reopening to visitors from Monday 5 July.

Tickets will be released on a weekly basis.

You can book a maximum of 11 tickets per order. If you would like to bring more than 11 people to Christ Church please contact our Groups Coordinator who will be able to provide you with the latest information regarding group visits.

Tickets for July and August will be released as follows:

What's included?

Your ticket includes access to the main Christ Church site, with the opportunity to see one of the largest colleges of the University of Oxford, and the Cathedral of Oxford. Every ticket also comes with a multimedia guide.

Please note that Christ Church is a working institution, and the Hall or Cathedral may be closed at the time of your visit. Known closures will be clearly indicated against the relevant timeslots on the booking system. Please select your timeslot carefully.

Children under 5 years

There is no charge for children under 5 years but a ticket must be booked online to ensure we do not exceed our capacity.

Children must be accompanied by an adult (18+).

Carer Ticket

The necessary companion, or carer, of a disabled visitor may book a free carer ticket online. The normal admission fee applies to the disabled visitor.

Groups

Due to our Covid-secure capacity limits and the need to maintain social distancing on site, we are not currently able to accept group bookings to Christ Church. The maximum number of tickets that can be purchased per order is 11. If you would like to book more than 11 tickets please contact the Groups Coordintator who will be able to provide you with the latest information regarding group visits.

At this time, Christ Church alumni are kindly asked to contact the Development Office for details on how to arrange their visit back to the House.

University of Oxford Alumni Card Holders

At this stage we have had to suspend free entry for Oxford University Alumni card holders while we carefully manage the number of people on site.

Oxford Residents (OX1-4)

Parishioner Pass

While we carefully manage the number of people on site, Parishioner Pass holders are asked to contact Miranda Hockliffe, Volunteer & Visitor Coordinator, if they wish to come to the Cathedral during visitor opening times.

Blue and Green Badge Guides

At this stage we have had to suspend free entry for Blue and Green Badge guides while we carefully manage the number of people on site. Please note that guiding is also not permitted at present.
