During the pandemic, the round of daily prayer from the Cathedral precincts has continued. When necessary, the clergy have met online to pray together for the city, the diocese and the nation.

All services are now online only as part of our Covid-risk reduction. The services marked in CAPITALS below are livestreamed. Other services will be celebrated by the clergy alone.

Is the Cathedral open?
The Cathedral is open for a limited number of services. Do join us for our early morning services (Monday to Saturday, 7.15) and for Holy Communion at 1pm on Wednesdays. On Sundays you are welcome to come for 8am Holy Communion and 11am Sung Communion, although you will need a ticket for this. If you have any questions, please email cathedral@chch.ox.ac.uk and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

What radio and TV programmes are available?
- The Daily Service is available online, on DAB and Long Wave
- Songs of Praise is Broadcast on BBC 1 at 1.15pm on Sunday
- BBC Radio 4 broadcasts Prayer for the Day at 5.43am each day and Sunday worship at 8.10am
- BBC Radio 3 broadcasts Choral Evensong at 3.30pm on Wednesdays
What is happening about special services and concerts?
In line with Church and Government advice most special services have been cancelled, postponed or adapted to allow for social distancing. However we are doing our best to make a version of special services available online.
