Key Stage 5

Sixth Form Seminars

From time to time, we organise special events, focused on a single curriculum subject, such as Art, Science, or RE, which are aimed at Sixth formers, to give them an opportunity to engage with university level debate.

Sixth form pupilFor example, we are able to offer seminars to sixth form students, led by one of our Canon Professors on topics relevant to the AS and A Level RE syllabus. Previous seminar topics have included Morality and War, Ethics and the Recession and the Philosophy of a Suffering God. This is a chance for students to join with pupils from other schools, and to raise their aspirations for the future.

If you are interested in a seminar on a specific theme, please contact us, well in advance.

Topics which may be available are:

- Religion and Morality

- Euthanasia

- Just War and Punishment

- Science and Religion

- Christian Doctrine and Spirituality
