College Choir

The College Choir is made up of about twenty five undergraduate and graduate students, and occasionally members of staff. It is run by junior members who plan a programme of services and concerts each year, under the overall responsibility of the Chaplain. The College Choir is a non-auditioning choir that regularly performs to a high standard whilst also maintaining a relaxed environment.

The Cathedral is our College Chapel, and the Choir are privileged to have such a wonderful venue in which to sing. They take a regular part in the worship of the Cathedral by singing Evensong most Mondays in term time, as well as singing at services specifically for the college. The College Choir is open to all students from across the University, and the only requirement to join us is a love for singing! Choir members are given a free meal in Hall after singing in the Cathedral, but the real reward is the musical and social experience it enables.

In the last few years the College Choir has sung at Winchester and Salisbury Cathedrals and at the end of Michaelmas Term we put on a popular Advent Carols Concert, and also sing in the tiny candlelit church in Binsey.
